Retracto can be soaked in GINGIVA LIQUID or another gingival retraction solution of your choice. Please note: Don’t use GINGIVA LIQUID in cases of necrotizing Gingivitis ulcerosa. Please follow instructions for use of the chosen liquid. GINGIVA LIQUID is not available in all countries. Then apply the cord tightly to the cervix of the tooth and press carefully into the sulcus by means of a retraction cord packer. Leave the non impregnated cord for at least 5 minutes in the sulcus. When using GINGIVA LIQUID time of effectiveness is 1-3 minutes. Remove the cord directly before taking the impression. The non impregnated retraction cord is available in 2 versions: Retracto non impregnated braided is slightly more compact and firmer than Retracto non impregnated twisted and is preferable when increased retraction is required. Both versions are available in x-fine, fine, medium and thick.
